Help keep the group ready

If you or your organisation are in a position to help the group — and through it the local community — financially or with goods or services, please contact John Kesterton at response@mroc.co.uk.

MROC 4x4 Response is run completely by volunteers, who give their time, their vehicles and their running costs free. The group still has operational costs: training, hi-vis clothing and equipment all have to be paid for if our response is to stay quick and dependable. Administration is kept to a minimum and is currently met by the Midland Rover Owners Club, while the cost of DBS checks is met by the local authority.

We were fortunate to secure National Lottery funding, which has been crucial in providing some of our specialist equipment and training — donations carry that work on.
